2017–18 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks basketball team represented Stephen F. Austin University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Ladyjacks were led by third-year head coach Mark Kellogg (basketball), Mark Kellogg and played their home games at the William R. Johnson Coliseum. They were members of the Southland Conference. They ended the season 25–7, 12–6 in Southland play, to finish in second place. They advanced to the championship game of the 2018 Southland Conference women's basketball tournament, Southland women's tournament where they lost to 2017–18 Nicholls State Colonels women's basketball team, Nicholls State. Mark Kellogg (born December 8, 1975) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head women's basketball coach at West Virginia Mountaineers women's basketball, West Virginia University. He was previously the head coach at Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks basketball, Stephen F. Austin, West Texas A&M Buffaloes, West Texas A&M, Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, Northwest Missouri State, and Fort Lewis Skyhawks, Fort Lewis At the conclusion of the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season, 2022–23 season he ranked sixth among active women's college basketball coaches with 445 wins. Early life and education Kellogg is from Richardson, Texas.
