2017–18 San Antonio Spurs Season
The 2017–18 San Antonio Spurs season was the 51st season for the franchise, the team's 42nd season in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and its 45th in the San Antonio area. The Spurs finished the season with a 47–35 record and the seventh seed in the Western Conference. In the first round of the playoffs, the team was defeated in five games by the defending champion and eventual NBA champion Golden State Warriors, the team that swept them in last season's Western Conference finals. The 2017–18 season was the final season that Tony Parker and Manu Ginóbili played for the team, and Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green would be traded following the season to the Toronto Raptors. Gregg Popovich
Gregg Charles Popovich (born January 28, 1949) is an American professional basketball executive and former coach who is the president for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Chip Engelland
Arthur Edward "Chip" Engelland III (born May 9, 1961) is an American basketball coach and former professional player. He is currently an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James Borrego
James Albert Borrego (born November 12, 1977) is an American professional basketball coach who is currently the assistant coach, associate head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jaron Samuel Blossomgame (born September 16, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for AS Monaco Basket, AS Monaco of the LNB Élite and the EuroLeague. Blossomgame played college basketball for Clemson University and was selected in the second round of the 2017 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Colorado Buffaloes Men's Basketball
The Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team represents the University of Colorado Boulder. The team competes in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I. They are currently coached by Tad Boyle. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. Derrick White
Derrick Richard White (born July 2, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed "the Buffalo," White played three years of college basketball in Division II for the Colorado–Colorado Springs Mountain Lions before transferring to Division I's Colorado Buffaloes for his final year. The 1997–98 NBA season was the 22nd season for the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basketball Association, and their 31st season as a franchise.
