The 2017–18 season was Real Madrid Baloncesto, Real Madrid's 87th in existence, their Liga ACB#All-time Liga ACB table, 35th consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish basketball and 11th consecutive season in the top flight of European basketball. The season was an extremely successful one, as Real Madrid won a record tenth EuroLeague title after defeating Fenerbahçe Basketball, Fenerbahçe in the 2018 EuroLeague Final Four#Championship game, final. In the domestic Liga ACB, Madrid clinched the title after defeating Saski Baskonia in the 2018 ACB Playoffs#Finals, playoff finals. Real Betis Baloncesto S.A.D., simply known as Real Betis, is a professional basketball team based in Seville, Spain. The team plays in the LEB Oro, the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It plays its home games at San Pablo. Fabien Causeur (born 16 June 1987) is a French professional basketball player for Olimpia Milano of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. Santiago Yusta García (born April 28, 1997) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Casademont Zaragoza of the Liga ACB. ACB Most Valuable Player is an annual award of the Liga ACB, the top-tier professional basketball league in Spain. The ACB handed out the award first after the 1991–92 ACB season. The 2018 ACB Playoffs, also known as 2018 Liga Endesa Playoffs for sponsorship reasons, was the postseason tournament of the ACB's 2017–18 season, which began September 29, 2017.
