The First League of the Republika Srpska ( / ) is a Association football, football league in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together with the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it forms the second level of football in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The league champion is promoted to the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Relegated teams fall to the Second League of the Republika Srpska. History Separate and second tier league Since there were three different football championships in the country, organized on Ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ethnic principles, the "First League of the Republika Srpska" was the top flight in the Republika Srpska before 2002. Fudbalski klub Tekstilac Derventa ( sr-cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Teкcтилaц Дepвeнтa) is a professional association football club from the town of Derventa, Republika Srpska that is situated in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Miljan Govedarica (born 26 May 1994) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a left midfielder for Swiss club Bosna Neuchatel. Club career Born in Sarajevo, Govedarica started playing with local club Slavija before signing with Serbian side Donji Srem and playing with them in the 2013–14 Serbian SuperLiga.
