2017–18 Alpe Adria Cup
The 2017–18 Alpe Adria Cup, also known as Helios Alpe Adria Cup by sponsorship reasons, was the third edition of Alpe Adria Cup. It started on 15 September 2017 and ended 3 April 2018. Format Sixteen teams from six countries joined the competition and were divided into four groups of four teams, where the top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarterfinals. Before the draw, Croatian club KK Zabok, Zabok withdrew from the competition. It was replaced by Czech BC Brno, mmcité Brno. KK Zlatorog Laško
Košarkarski klub Zlatorog Laško (), commonly referred to as KK Zlatorog or simply Zlatorog, is a Slovenian basketball club based in Laško that competes in the Slovenian First League, the top flight of Slovenian basketball. The team play their home games at the Tri Lilije Hall. History The club was established in 1969. During the initial years the club was competing under the name ''KK Laško''. In 1972 they renamed as ''KK Zlatorog Laško'', and in 1994 as ''KK Pivovarna Laško''. A year before that, the town of Laško started the construction of a new modern sports hall which prompted rapid expansion of basketball in the town. Klosterneuburg Dukes is an Austrian professional basketball club based in Klosterneuburg. With a total of 10 national titles, Klosterneuburg is one of the most successful teams in Austria. History In 1952, the team was founded as a part of the association football team Klosterneuburg SV. After numerous mergers the team eventually was named Klosterneuburg BC and in 1970, it promoted to the ÖBL, the Austrian First Division. The 80s were the golden years for the club. They won their first national title in 1978 and from 1983 till 1990 they won the ÖBL 8 times in a row.
