2017–18 ABA League First Division
The 2017–18 ABA League First Division was the 17th season of the ABA League, with 12 teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Macedonia participating in it. It was the inaugural season with a two-level competition and the First Division being the top tier. Teams On May 23, 2017, ABA League JTD, ABA League Assembly announced that 12 clubs would be competing in the league in the 2017–18 season. 2016–17 ABA League
The 2016–17 ABA League was the 16th season of the ABA League, with 14 teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Macedonia participating in it. It started on September 29, 2016, with the first round of the regular season and the regular season ended on March 13, 2017, followed by playoffs of the four best placed teams. The play-offs were played from March 18 till April 13, 2017. Crvena zvezda won its third ABA League championship, after beating Cedevita 3–0 in the Finals. Džanan Musa
Džanan Musa (, born 8 May 1999) is a Bosnian professional basketball player for Real Madrid of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. Standing at and weighing , Musa plays at the shooting guard and small forward positions. He was selected by the Brooklyn Nets with the 29th pick in the 2018 NBA draft. Košarkaški klub Mega Basket ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб Мега Баскет), currently referred to as Mega Superbet for sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. The 2016–17 Basketball League of Serbia season is the 11th season of the Basketball League of Serbia, the highest professional basketball league in Serbia. It is also 73rd national championship played by Serbian clubs inclusive of nation's previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. The first half of the season consists of 14 teams and 182–game regular season (26 games for each of the 14 teams) began on October 8, 2016, and ended on April 12, 2017. 2017–18 KK Crvena Zvezda Season
The 2017–18 season is the 73rd Crvena zvezda season in the existence of the club. The team has been playing in the Basketball League of Serbia, in the Adriatic League and in the Euroleague. Overview During the summer of 2017, the head coach Dejan Radonjić didn't sign new contract, and the club parted ways with no less than eleven players, including key figures in the last couple of years such as Marko Simonović, captain Luka Mitrović, Charles Jenkins, Stefan Jović, Ognjen Kuzmić and Marko Gudurić. Young prospect Dušan Alimpijević was named as the head coach. Depleted roster was reinforced by James Feldeine and Taylor Rochestie, veterans Pero Antić and Marko Kešelj and a quartet of young players: Mathias Lessort, Nikola Radičević, Stefan Janković and Nikola Jovanović.
