2017–18 A-1 League
The 2017–18 HT Premijer liga was the 27th season of the HT Premijer liga, the highest professional basketball league in Croatia. It started on 6 October 2017 and finished on 3 June 2018. KK Cedevita, Cedevita retained the title and achieved their fifth league overall. Format As in the previous season, all participants in A-1 League including teams that play 2017–18 ABA League First Division, ABA League joined the regular season. It was played with a double round-robin format where the eight first qualified teams joined the playoffs while the last qualified one was relegated. Current teams After the resign of KK Jolly Jadranska Banka, Jolly Šibenik to its berth, the league was reduced to 13 teams. KK Jazine, Jazine and KK Kaštela, Ribola Kaštela were promoted from the previous season. They would replace KK Gorica, Gorica and KK Kvarner 2010, Kvarner 2010. 2016–17 A-1 League
The 2016–17 A-1 League () was the 26th season of the HT Premijer liga, A-1 League, the highest professional basketball league in Croatia. The season started on 5 October 2016 and finished on 1 June 2017. KK Cedevita Junior, Cedevita won its fourth national championship after defeating KK Cibona, Cibona in the 2017 A1 League playoffs, playoffs final. Format All participants in A-1 League including teams that played in the 2016–17 ABA League, ABA League joined the regular season. It was played in a double round-robin format where the eight first qualified teams joined the playoffs while the last qualified one was directly relegated and the 13th qualified played a relegation playoff.
