Dubai 24 Hour
The Dubai 24 Hour Race is both a sports car and touring car automobile endurance race held annually at the Dubai Autodrome. It was inaugurated in 2006. Entrants and participants As with all races in the 24H Series, promoted by Dutch promoter Creventic, they are open to both professional and semi-professional teams. There are both local competitors from the UAE and surrounding nations in the Persian Gulf as well as a host of international teams particularly from European nations. Unlike the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France whereby teams are invited by the organizers to compete, the Dubai 24 Hour is solely made up of teams who have registered prior to the commencing of the actual race. Entrants must file in a registration application in order to have a chance at competing. Entry and registration fees also apply for competitors. Christopher Haase (born 26 September 1987 in Kulmbach) is a German professional racing driver. He became the FIA GT3 European Champion in 2009, racing for Lamborghini and Reiter Engineering, and raced in GT1 for the first time in 2010. Enzo Ide
Enzo Ide (born 22 June 1991 in Tielt) is a Belgian racing driver. Racing career Ide began his racing career in Belcar, racing a Porsche 997 GT3 for Prospeed Competition, together with Ruben Maes. For 2011 he stepped up to the FIA GT3 European Championship, driving an Audi R8 LMS for Belgian Audi Club Team WRT. Sharing with Gregory Franchi for the first five rounds, he won races at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and the Circuito de Navarra. Franchi switched to the team's other car for the final round at Circuit Park Zandvoort, and Ide was partnered by Christopher Haase – winning the second race of the weekend. Ide finished third in the drivers' championship. He also continued racing in Belcar, also for WRT alongside François Verbist. The Chevrolet Corvette (C6) is the sixth generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced by Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 2005 to 2013 model years. It is the first Corvette with exposed headlamps since the 1962 model. Production variants include the Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, and 427 Convertible. Duncan Huisman (born 11 November 1971 in Doornspijk, Gelderland) is a Dutch racing driver. He won the Guia Race four times and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in 2005. He claimed three titles at the Dutch Touring Car Championship in 1997, 2000 and 2002, and resulted runner-up at the 2010 and 2011 Dutch GT4 Championship. He has also competed in the FIA GT Championship and the Porsche Supercup. His older brother Patrick is also a successful racing driver. Anders Fjordbach (born 4 November 1990) is a Danish racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Career Fjordbach began his senior racing career in 2007, competing in the Yokohama 1600 Challenge Denmark and the Volkswagen Polo Cup Denmark, finishing 11th and 10th in the championships respectively. The following year, Fjordbach returned to the Polo Cup, finishing 5th. In 2009, an accident at Oschersleben during ADAC Procar competition led him to postpone his racing career, making his return in 2012. Stuart Hall (born 18 October 1984 in Chelmsford) is a British racing driver. He is the 2013 GTEAM World Endurance Champion and has competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for teams including Aston Martin Racing. Career Single-seaters After winning the T Cars championship in 2000, Hall moved into single-seaters. In 2002 he finished ninth in the British Formula Ford Championship, before coming fourth in that year's Winter Series, where he won two of the four races. Thomas Michael Onslow-Cole (born 16 May 1987 in Kingston, Surrey ) is a British auto racing driver. He won the International GT Open in Pro-Am category in 2018 and in 2019 and the 24H Series in 2015.
