2016–17 Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2016–17 Third Amateur Football League season was the 67th season of the Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League. The league is equivalent to the third level of the Bulgarian football league system, Bulgarian football pyramid, with a total of four divisions within it. The divisions themselves are geographically separated into ''Northwest'', ''Northeast'', ''Southeast'', and ''Southwest''. This was the first season following the 2016 reorganization of the Bulgarian football league system, which saw the emergence of new a competition format, including the First and Second Professional Football Leagues. Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League (), commonly known as Treta Liga or Bulgarian Third League (currently known as the ELITBET Third League for sponsorship reasons), is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Currently Third League consists of four divisions that are formed by separating the country into four regions: ''North-West'', ''South-West'', ''North-East'' and ''South-East''. The divisions run in parallel during the season, but since the number of teams in each division may vary, the number of rounds in each of them may vary. FC Septemvri () is a Bulgarian football club based in Simitli, which currently plays in the Third League, the third tier of the Bulgarian football league system. History The club was founded in 1942. From 1961 to 1975, it was called "Pirin miner". The players at that time were mostly young boys from the age of 18 to 20, with the exception of goalkeeper Dimitar Atanasovski (former player from Belasitsa). FC Parva Atomna Kozloduy () is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Kozloduy. The club currently competes in the B RFG Vratsa. History The first football team of the town of Kozloduy is based in the 1950s. Then the teams played in regional groups of Vratsa. In 1974 after the founding of the Kozloduy NPP is based on current club. First named Parva atomna, but then after Hristo Botev. Inter Dobrich () is a Bulgarian football club from Dobrich, formed in 2013, which currently competes in Bulgaria's fourth division, the Dobrich Regional Football Group–East. Inter plays its home matches at the Druzhba Stadium, training ground, in Dobrich. FC Shumen 1929 () was a Bulgarian football club from the city of Shumen, which last competed in the North-Eastern section of Bulgaria's 3rd football league. Shumen 1929 played its home matches at the local Panayot Volov Stadium. The main kit colours of the team were yellow and blue. Because of the city's famous brand of Shumensko beer, they were often affectionately called Пивоварите, or ''The Brewers''.
