The 2016–17 season was SK Slavia Prague's 24th season in the Czech First League. The team competed in Czech First League and the Czech Cup. Sportovní klub Slavia Praha – fotbal (Sports Club Slavia Prague – Football, ), commonly known as Slavia Praha or Slavia Prague, is a Czech professional association football, football football team, club in Prague. Josef Hušbauer
Josef Hušbauer (born 16 March 1990) is a Czech professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Cypriot Second Division club Spartakos Kitiou. A product of the Sparta Prague football academy, Hušbauer represented the Czech Republic 21 times, scoring once, between 2012 and 2019. Muris Mešanović (born 6 July 1990) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Czech club Dukla Prague. He represented his country at under-21 level. Jiří Bílek (born 4 November 1983) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. He is currently a member of Slavia Prague's board of directors, and serves as the club's sporting director.
