2016–17 Oberliga Hamburg
The 2016–17 Oberliga Hamburg was the 72nd season of the Oberliga Hamburg, the top football league in the German state of Hamburg, since its establishment in 1945. The season began on 29 July 2016 and concluded on 26 May 2017. TuS Dassendorf won their 4th consecutive and 5th overall Oberliga Hamburg title. Klub Kosova, TuS Osdorf, and Wedeler TSV were promoted to the Oberliga Hamburg at the end of the 2015-16 season. The Oberliga Hamburg, sometimes referred to as ''Hamburg-Liga'', is the highest league in the Germany, German States of Germany, state of Hamburg, incorporating some of its surrounding districts. VfL Pinneberg is a German association football club from the town of Pinneberg, Schleswig-Holstein. Despite its location in Schleswig-Holstein the club plays in the football leagues of near-by Hamburg. The club's greatest success has been promotion to the tier two Regionalliga Nord in 1973, where it played for a season. Wedel () is a town in the Pinneberg (district), district of Pinneberg, in Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Elbe, approximately south of Elmshorn, and west of Hamburg.
