2016–17 Liberty Flames Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Liberty Flames men's basketball team represented Liberty University in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team played its home games in Lynchburg, Virginia for the 27th consecutive season at Vines Center, with a capacity of 8,085. The team was led by Ritchie McKay, who was in his fourth season, but second season since his return to the program. They were members of the Big South Conference. They finished the season 21–14, 14–4 in Big South play to finish in a third place. Ritchie McKay
Ritchie Lawrence McKay (born April 22, 1965) is an American basketball coach who is in his second stint as the head coach of the Liberty Flames basketball, Liberty Flames of Liberty University. McKay for the previous six seasons had been the associate head coach to Tony Bennett (basketball), Tony Bennett for the Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball, Virginia Cavaliers at the University of Virginia. He had previously been the head coach of New Mexico Lobos men's basketball, New Mexico, Oregon State Beavers men's basketball, Oregon State, Colorado State Rams men's basketball, Colorado State, and Portland State Vikings men's basketball, Portland State. On April 3, 2009, McKay was hand-selected by Bennett and lured from his head coaching position at Liberty to become associate head coach at Virginia. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. The 2016–17 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which was the Jayhawks' 119th basketball season. Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania
Clarks Summit is a borough in Lackawanna County, northwest of Scranton in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The population was 5,108 at the 2020 census. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five, the big or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros (also CSU Dominguez Hills Toros, CSUDH Toros, and California State-Dominguez Hills Toros) are the athletic teams that represent California State University, Dominguez Hills, located in Carson, California, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Master's College
The Master's University is a private non-denominational Christian university in Santa Clarita, California. History The college was founded in 1927. It was originally named Los Angeles Baptist College and Seminary. In 1961, it moved to Newhall in Santa Clarita, California. In 1985, John MacArthur became the school president; the name was changed to The Master's College, hoping to appeal to a wider evangelical audience.
