2016–17 Greek Basketball Cup
The 2016–17 Greek Basketball Cup was the 42nd edition of Greece's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The competition started on September 17, 2016, and ended with the Final on February 18, 2016. Panathinaikos won the competition. Format The top six placed teams from the top-tier level Greek Basket League 2015–16 season, had an automatic bye to the quarterfinals. While the eight lower placed teams from the Greek Basket League 2015–16 season, along with the 16 teams from the 2nd-tier level Greek A2 Basket League 2016–17 season, played in preliminary rounds, competing for the other two quarterfinals places. Quarterfinals

The Peace and Friendship Stadium (), commonly known by its acronym SEF (Greek: ΣΕΦ), is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Piraeus, on the coastal zone of Attica, Greece. Kolossos Rodou B.C. (Greek: Κολοσσός Ρόδου K.A.E.), known as Kolossos H Hotels for sponsorship reasons, is a Greek professional basketball team that is located on the island of Rhodes, in Rhodes City. OAKA Basketball Arena, previously known as Olympic Indoor Hall of O.A.C.A., is a part of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, Spyros Louis Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (). Koroivos (, before 1955: Κελεβή - ''Kelevi'') is a village in the municipal unit of Gastouni, Elis, Greece. It is situated in a flat rural area, south of the river Pineios. It is 2 km southeast of Lefkochori, 2 km west of Roupaki, 2 km southwest of Agia Mavra and 4 km east of Gastouni. The village was named after Coroebus of Elis, one of the winners of the first Ancient Olympic Games.Today, there is a Cultural Center in the village, while only a kindergarten is open, since the primary school was closed due to lack of children.
