FC Metz
Football Club de Metz () is a Football in France, French association football club based in Metz, Lorraine. The club was formed in 1932 and plays in Ligue 1, the highest division in the French football league system, for the 2025–26 Ligue 1, 2025–26 season following their promotion from the second division in the 2024–25 Ligue 2, 2024–2025 season. They play their home matches at Stade Saint-Symphorien located within the city. The team is currently managed by Stéphane Le Mignan. Despite never winning the top flight, they have won the Coupe de France twice and the Coupe de la Ligue twice. History FC Metz was founded in 23 March 1932 by the amalgamation of two amateur athletic clubs, and shortly thereafter became a professional team; it is one of the oldest professional football teams in France. Yann Jouffre
Yann Jouffre (; born 23 July 1984) is a French former professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Nîmes, Guingamp, Lorient and FC Metz. Club career Born in Montélimar, Drôme, Jouffre made his professional debut for Nîmes Olympique on 23 January 2002, coming on as a substitute for Christophe Van Reusel in a 0–0 draw with FC Istres. He made nine other appearances that season, scoring in a 3–1 loss to RC Strasbourg. Jouffre had his breakout year the next season making another 32 appearances and scoring four goals, earning himself a transfer to Ligue 1 side En Avant de Guingamp in the summer of 2003. Jouffre struggled in his first season at Guingamp, managing just 100 minutes of football across six appearances. Kévin Lejeune
Kevin Lejeune (born 22 January 1985) is a French former professional footballer who played as a left winger and current Team Manager of FC Metz. Formed at Auxerre where he made his debut in Ligue 1 in 2006, Lejeune was loaned to Nantes before leaving for Ligue 2 club Tours in 2010. Two years later he signed for FC Metz, and won two consecutive promotions from the Championnat National to Ligue 1, extending his contract three times. When it expired in 2017, he joined Ajaccio. Florent Mollet
Florent Mollet (born 19 November 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 club Nantes. He made his professional debut for Dijon in Ligue 2 in 2012, and three years later joined fellow league team Créteil. In his only season for the latter, he scored 11 goals, but the team suffered relegation and he moved on to Metz in Ligue 1. Two years later, after his club was again relegated, he moved to Montpellier. In summer 2022, Mollet signed for Schalke 04 before moving to Nantes only half a year later. Thibaut Vion (born 11 December 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Bulgarian First League club CSKA Sofia. He has been capped at international level playing in the U19 and U20 squads. Club career As 17 years old, Vion joined Portuguese club F.C. Porto from the youth academy of Metz, for a fee of €300,000. Mouhamadou Habibou "Habib" Diallo (born 18 June 1995) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Pro League side Damac, on loan from Al-Shabab and the Senegal national team. is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for J1 League club Júbilo Iwata. Franck Eddy Signorino (born 19 September 1981) is a French former professional footballer who played as a left-back.
