Armenian First League
The Armenian First League () is currently the second level association football, football competition in Armenia after the Armenian Premier League. The competition exists mostly out of reserve teams of several Premier League clubs; however, other teams also participate. Alashkert FC
Football Club Alashkert (), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Football in Armenia, Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni, Armenia, Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic town of Alashkert in the Western Armenia, now Eleşkirt. Alashkert have won the Armenian Premier League title on four occasions and the Armenian Cup once. The club has also won the Armenian Supercup three times. They are owned by Bagrat Navoyan, a businessman and founder of Bagretour LLC, and have a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian club Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, Botafogo since August 2017. The 2016–17 Armenian Cup is the 26th season of Armenia's football knockout competition. It features the six 2016–17 Premier League teams, plus Erebuni and Kotayk from the 2016–17 First Division. The 2016–17 Armenian Premier League season was the 25th since its establishment. The season began on 6 August 2016 and ended on 31 May 2017. Alashkert are the defending champions. Teams Six teams competed in this year's competition. * 1Ararat Yerevan moved to the Mika Stadium during the second half of the season. * 2 Gandzasar Kapan moved to the Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium in Yerevan during the second half of the season. The 2017–18 Armenian Premier League season was the 26th since its establishment. The season began in August 2017 and concluded in May 2018. Alashkert were the defending champions from the previous season. Teams The same six teams from the previous season will also take part in this season's competition. * 1 Gandzasar Kapan played the 1st half of the season at Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium in Yerevan, due to the rebuilding of their Gandzasar Stadium, Kapan, while they used other available Premier League stadiums during the 2nd half of the season. FC Shirak
Football Club Shirak (), commonly known as Shirak, is an Armenia, Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional association football, football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 in Armenian football, 1992 until 2020–21 Armenian Premier League, 2021. Shirak is one of the more successful clubs in Armenia, having won a total of 11 domestic titles including four Armenian Premier League titles, two Armenian Independence Cup, Armenian Cup, and five Armenian Super Cup. FC Gandzasar Kapan is an Armenian football club based in the town of Kapan, Syunik Province. The team plays in Armenian Premier League. The club headquarters are located on 18 Garegin Nzhdeh street, Kapan. The Gandzasar Kapan Training Centre is located at the eastern outskirts of the town of Kapan. Erebuni Sport Club (), was an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan. Founded as a football school for young players in 2007, the club entered the Armenian football league system in 2016. FC Ararat Yerevan
Football Club Ararat Yerevan (), commonly known as Ararat Yerevan, is an Armenia, Armenian professional Association football, football club based in Yerevan that plays in the Armenian Premier League.
