The Utah Jazz are an American professional basketball team based in Salt Lake City. The Jazz compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. Francis Patrick Layden (born January 5, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American former basketball coach and executive of the National Basketball Association's Utah Jazz as well as former head coach of the Women's National Basketball Association's Utah Starzz. Brett L. Tolman (born June 10, 1970) is an American lawyer. He served as a United States attorney for the District of Utah from July 2006 to December 2009.
