The 2016 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Paul Johnson (American Football Coach, Born 1957)
Paul Clayton Johnson (born August 20, 1957) is a former American college football coach. He served as the head football coach at Georgia Southern University from 1997 to 2001, the United States Naval Academy from 2002 to 2007, and Georgia Tech, from 2008 to 2018, compiling a career college football coaching record of 189–100. Johnson's Georgia Southern Eagles football, Georgia Southern Eagles won consecutive NCAA Division I Football Championship, NCAA Division I-AA Football Championships in 1999 and 2000. Noted for his use of the flexbone formation, flexbone spread offense, spread option offense, Johnson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2023. Andy McCollum
Andrew Jon McCollum (born June 2, 1970) is an American former professional football player who was a center for 15 seasons in the National Football League for three teams. He played college football at Toledo Rockets. He was signed by the Milwaukee Mustangs as a street free agent in 1994. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen.
