2015–16 Svenska Cupen (women)
The 2015–16 Svenska Cupen will be the 60th season of Svenska Cupen and the fourth season with the current format. The winners of the competition will earn a place in the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League#Second qualifying round, second qualifying round of the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League. A total of 96 clubs will enter the competition. The final was played on 5 May 2016 and contested between Malmö FF and BK Häcken at Swedbank Stadion, Malmö, with BK Häcken winning. Teams Round and draw dates The schedule of the competition is as follows. Qualifying rounds The only two associations of the Swedish District Football Associations that had a qualifying round were Dalarnas Fotbollförbund, Dalarnas FF and Örebro Läns Fotbollförbund, Örebro Läns FF, with the teams from other districts being determined though district championships or by club ranking in 2014. BK Häcken
Bollklubben Häcken, more commonly known as BK Häcken or simply Häcken (), is a Swedish professional association football, football club based in Gothenburg (Hisingen). It currently plays in Allsvenskan, the top tier of Swedish football. Formed on 2 August 1940, Häcken has played 23 seasons in Allsvenskan, debuting in the league in 1983 Allsvenskan, 1983. The club is affiliated to Gothenburg Football Association and play their home games at Bravida Arena. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are yellow and black. History The beginning The club was started by a group of 14- to 15-year-old youngsters who wanted not just to play football for fun but also to create an organisation and participate in the national league system.
