The 2015–16 season of the Schleswig-Holstein-Liga, the highest association football league in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, was the eighth season of the league at tier five (V) of the German football league system. The 2015–16 season saw five new clubs in the league, FC Kilia Kiel, TSB Flensburg, Oldenburger SV and SG Reher-Puls, all four promoted from the Verbandsligas while VfR Neumünster was relegated from the Regionalliga Nord. SV Eichede
The SV Eichede is a Football in Germany, German association football club from the Eichede suburb of Steinburg, Stormarn, Steinburg, Schleswig-Holstein. The club's greatest success has been to earn promotion to the German football league system, tier four Regionalliga Nord in 2013 and again in 2016. On each occasion the club was relegated from the Regionalliga after just one season. History The club was formed in 1947 and played for the first five decades as a local amateur team. ''SV'' for the first time made an appearance in the highest league of the state in 1994 when it was promoted to the tier five Verbandsliga Schleswig-Holstein, helped by the introduction of the Regionalligas that season which allowed an increased number of promoted teams to the league. Kieler Sportvereinigung Holstein von 1900 e.V., commonly known as Holstein Kiel () or KSV Holstein, is a German association football and sports club based in the city of Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein. German Reserve Football Teams
German reserve football teams compete at all levels of league football within the German football league system apart from the top two divisions, the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga. The highest league these teams can currently enter is the 3. Liga, set at the third tier of the league system. Until 2005, reserve teams of professional sides carried the title Amateure behind the club name to distinguish between the professional and reserve team of a club while all other reserve teams carried the Roman numeral II behind the club name as a distinction. Since 2005 all reserve teams carry the Roman numeral, regardless of the status of the first team. Any additional reserve teams carry the following Roman numeral behind the club's name. From 1974 to 2008 reserve teams were permitted to compete in the DFB-Pokal, the premier German Cup competition. The 2016–17 Regionalliga was the ninth season of the Regionalliga, the fifth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. Regionalliga Nord 18 teams from the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein competed in the fifth season of the reformed Regionalliga Nord; 15 teams were retained from last season and 3 were promoted from the Oberliga, namely 2015–16 Niedersachsenliga champions Lupo Martini Wolfsburg and promotion round winners SV Eichede, 2015–16 Schleswig-Holstein-Liga champions, and 1.
