2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition
The 2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition was the 50th edition of the Regional Four Day Competition, the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition ran from 6 November 2015 to 18 March 2016. Six teams contested the tournament – Barbados national cricket team, Barbados, Guyana national cricket team, Guyana, Jamaica national cricket team, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands cricket team, Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago national cricket team, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands cricket team, Windward Islands. Guyana were undefeated, winning eight of their ten matches and drawing the other two, and consequently won their eighth title (and second in a row). Jamaica's Nikita Miller was the leading wicket-taker, while Guyana's captain Leon Johnson (cricketer), Leon Johnson led the competition in runs. West Indies Cricket Board
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly Commonwealth Caribbean, English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. This rebranding formally occurred in May 2017. CWI has been a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1926. Kevin Stoute
Kevin Andre Stoute (born 12 November 1985) is a Barbadian cricketer who played for the Barbadian national side in West Indian domestic cricket. He is a right-handed pace-bowling all-rounder. Kemar Roach
Kemar Andre Jamal Roach (born 30 June 1988) is a Barbadian people, Barbadian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies cricket team, West Indies in Test cricket, Test and One Day Internationals. As a pacer, Roach initially reached speeds of over 90 mph on regular occasions. After some time he adapted his bowling style, due to injuries and diminshed pace, to encourage augmented swing and movement of the ball. He triumphantly claimed the 2012–13 Big Bash League season, BBL02 title with the Brisbane Heat and was an essential part of the Surrey County Cricket Club, Surrey side which eventually won the 2022 County Championship title. Mario Rampersaud
Mario Amar Rampersaud (born 24 November 1992) is a Barbadian former cricketer who played for the Barbadian national side in West Indian domestic cricket as a wicket-keeper. Rampersaud first played for the Barbados under-19s in 2009, aged only 16. However, he did not make a senior appearance until the 2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition, aged 22. Omar Phillips
Omar Jamel Phillips (born 12 October 1986) is a West Indian former cricketer who played domestically for the Combined Campuses and Colleges and Barbados as well as appearing in two Test matches for the West Indies. A left-handed opening batsman, he got his Test opportunity following a dispute between the West Indies Cricket Board and the Players' Association. On his debut against Bangladesh he scored 94. Ashley Nurse
Ashley Renaldo Nurse (born 22 December 1988) is a former West Indian cricketer who plays first-class, List A and Twenty20 cricket for Barbados. He is a right-arm off-break bowler and a right-handed batsman. Nurse was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. Shai Hope
Shai Diego Hope (born 10 November 1993) is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the West Indies cricket team. He is also the current ODI &T20I captain of the Windies. In June 2018, he was named the Men's Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year at the annual Cricket West Indies' Awards. Justin Greaves
Justin Pierre Greaves (born 26 February 1994) is a Barbadian cricketer who has played for both Barbados and the Combined Campuses and Colleges in West Indian domestic cricket. Shane Omari Dowrich (born 30 October 1991) is a former Barbadian international cricketer who plays as a wicket-keeper. He has featured for the West Indies, Barbados along with CPL teams St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Barbados Tridents in his cricketing career. Miguel Lamar Cummins (born 5 September 1990) is a Barbadian cricketer who has played in 14 Test matches and 11 One Day Internationals (ODI) for the West Indies.
