The 2015–16 Red Stripe Premier League is the highest competitive football league in Jamaica. It is the 42nd edition of the competition. It started on September 6, 2015 and ended on May 17, 2016. National Premier League
The Jamaica Premier League (formerly the National Premier League), commonly abbreviated as JPL and officially known as the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is sanctioned by the Jamaican Football Federation as the top division for men's association football in Jamaica. Contested between 14 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the JFF Championship. Most games are played on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings ''(Monday Night Football)''. Portmore, Jamaica
Portmore () is a large urban settlement located along the southeastern coast of Jamaica in Saint Catherine Parish, Saint Catherine, and a dormitory community for Kingston, Jamaica, Kingston and Spanish Town, which neighbour it. Harbour View Stadium
Harbour View Stadium is a Association football, football stadium in Harbour View, Jamaica, Harbour View, near Kingston, Jamaica. It was built by Carvel Stewart and Harbour View F.C., Harbour View Football Club in the 1990s, as a part of the club's effort to transform into a truly professional organization. It is the home stadium for the Harbour View Football Club, and has a capacity of 7,000 spectators. The national team has played several international games at this stadium, as well as the club when they compete in the CFU club championships and the CONCACAF club championships. One highlight was the 2005 CONCACAF Champion's cup home game, which was televised to the world from the Harbour View Stadium on Fox Soccer Channel.
