2015–16 MŽRKL
MŽRKL League for the season 2015–16 was the fifteenth season of the Adriatic League. Competition included eleven teams from six countries. In this season participating clubs from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and from Macedonia. MŽRKL League for the season 2015–16 has begun to play 8 October 2015. and ended on 10 February 2016, when he it was completed a League 6. Final Four to be played from 12 to 13 March 2016. Team information Regular season In the Regular season was played with 11 teams divided into 2 groups of 5/6 teams and play a dual circuit system, each with one game each at home and away. WABA League
WABA League, commonly known as the Adriatic League, is a top-level regional basketball league, featuring female teams from Serbia, Montenegro, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia. Clubs from Turkey, North Macedonia, Hungary and Italy had their representatives in WABA League in past seasons. Since 2012 a Cadet WABA League and since 2014 Pionir WABA League is also played. History Formation and early years WABA League was established in 2001 as EWWL League. In its first season, it included six teams from four countries (Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina). After the regular season, it held a tournament in which the three best teams played, which was won by Athlete Celje. Next season, the league expanded from six to eight teams, and the final tournament was altered so that the placement included the four top teams. Morača Sports Centre ( Montenegrin: ''Sportski centar Morača'', Спортски центар Морача) is a multi-sports venue that is located in Podgorica, Montenegro. ŽKK Play Off Sarajevo, currently known as ŽKK Play Off Meridianbet for sponsorship reasons, is a professional women's basketball club based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The team competes in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Women), Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Basketball Championship and plays its home games at the Ilidža Cultural and Sports Center, which has a capacity of 2,700 spectators.
