2015–16 Mizoram Premier League
The 2015–16 Mizoram Premier League (also known McDowell's No.1, Mc Dowell's Mizoram Premier League Season 4 for sponsorship reasons) is the 4th season of the Mizoram Premier League which is the top tier of the Mizoram football system. The campaign began on 10 September 2015 and ended on 15 December 2015. Aizawl F.C. won its 2nd title on 15 December 2015 after defeating Chanmari F.C. at the Lammual Stadium. Mizoram Premier League
The Mizoram Premier League (also known as LZ JUICE Mizoram Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest State football leagues in India, state-level Association football, football league in Mizoram, India. On a national scale, it is the 5th tier of Indian football league system. The competition is conducted by the Mizoram Football Association, the official football body of Mizoram, with Tetea Hmar as its secretary and key promoter. The league started on 24 October 2012 for the first time. League structure Mizoram Premier League has eight clubs. Champhai United FC
Champhai is the third largest town in Mizoram, northeast India and is one of the oldest settlements founded by the Mizo people that initially served as a capital for the Hmar dynasty. Located near the India–Myanmar border, it facilitates cross-border trade and serves as a hub for trade and commerce in the region. Unlike most urban places in Mizoram, Champhai is situated in a valley and on top of a small hill. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,678 meters (5,505 feet) above sea level. It had an estimated population of 44,000 in 2023. History Champhai was the headquarters of Lalbura Sailo, son of Vanhnuailiana, a Mizo Chief against whom the British Expedition of 1871–72 was directed. Kolasib
Kolasib is a town located in the northern part of Mizoram, India. It serves as the headquarters of the Kolasib District.
