2015–16 Macedonian First Football League
The 2015–16 Macedonian First League was the 24th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest Association football, football league of North Macedonia, Macedonia. It began on 9 August 2015 and ended on 19 May 2016. It was the last season as the format changed from the 2016–17 season which will each team be played the other sides four times on home-away basis, for a total of 36 matches each instead of play-off and play-out after 27th round. The league was contested by 10 teams. FK Vardar, Vardar are the defending champions, having won their eight title in 2014–15 Macedonian First Football League, 2014–15. The 2014–15 Macedonian Second League was the 23rd season of the Macedonian Second Football League, the second football division of Macedonia. It began on 9 August 2014 and ended on 23 May 2015. In that season, 10 teams performs instead of 16 because the Football Federation of Macedonia in May 2013 voted for decision on the decrease of the league. SRC Biljanini Izvori
SRC Biljanini Izvori () is a multi-purpose stadium in Ohrid, North Macedonia. It has a seating capacity of 3,978 and is the home ground of FK Ohrid Lihnidos, FK Voska Sport and ŽFK Biljanini Izvori. It has also been used by North Macedonia's national team for training. History The stadiums was constructed in 1978 and had a capacity of 2,500. In 2021, a new Eastern stand seating 1,478 people was opened. The stadium lacks floodlights, as such all the games have to be played under natural sunlight. Carev Dvor (, meaning ''Emperor's Court''; ) is a village in Resen Municipality in North Macedonia, roughly from the municipal centre of Resen. It has 605 residents. Železarnica Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Skopje, North Macedonia. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and serves as the home ground for FK Metalurg Skopje of the Macedonian First Football League, Macedonian First League and FK Skopje of the Macedonian Second Football League, Macedonian Second League, but Metalurg Skopje was required to play at both the Petar Miloševski Training Centre and Boris Trajkovski Stadium in the Macedonian First League because the Železarnica does not meet the necessary league requirements for First League matches to be held there. FK Pobeda AD Prilep () is a football club based in the city of Prilep, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded in 2010 as Viktorija (eventually renaming to Pobeda Junior) after the FK Pobeda was banned by FIFA for eight years. Legally, the two clubs' track records and honors are kept separate by the Football Federation of Macedonia. In 2015, Pobeda Junior was renamed to match the name of the old club that was suspended, Pobeda. FK Teteks () is a football club from the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History In 1946, there was a club from Tetovo called Šar Tetovo, and it competed in the Macedonian Republic League and Macedonian Cup. It won the Macedonian Cup two times in 1948 and 1950, and was successful in the Macedonian League. However, it was dissolved after a few years, mostly because of financial difficulties. Not much long after this, a new club was founded on the base of FK Šar, named Tekstilec. The club was founded in 1953, under the name FK Tekstilec. The founder of FK Teteks is the textile combine Teteks and because of this they are known as "Štofari" (Tailors). They were in the shadow of the older club FK Ljuboten (formed in 1919).
