2015–16 Hannover 96 Season
The 2015–16 Hannover 96 season is the 120th season in the club's football history. In 2015–16 the club plays in the Bundesliga, the premier tier of German football. It is the club's 14th consecutive season in this league after the promotion from the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga in 2002. The season saw Hannover relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, the first time they will play outside of the Bundesliga since 2002. Hannoverscher Sportverein von 1896, commonly referred to as Hannover 96 (), is a German professional association football, football club based in the city of Hanover, Lower Saxony. They played in the Bundesliga for a total of 30 years between 1964 and 2019 and currently play in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier in the German football league system, having been relegated from the Bundesliga, Germany's first tier, after finishing 17th in the 2018–19 Bundesliga, 2018–19 season. Leon Hougaard Andreasen (born 23 April 1983) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a defender or midfielder. He won 20 caps and scored three goals for the Denmark national team. Biography Born in Aidt, Jutland, Andreasen started playing football at local club Hammel GF. After a stay at the very popular football academy, Hessel Gods Fodboldkostskole in Grenaa, he moved on to the youth team of AGF Aarhus in 1999, where he signed his first contract in 2001. Hotaru Yamaguchi
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder and currently plays for club, V-Varen Nagasaki. He is also a member of the Japan national team until 2019. Club career Early career Yamaguchi began playing football in the third grade, playing mostly as an attacking midfielder. André Hoffmann (born 28 February 1993) is a German footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or central defender. Career Until 2010 he played in the youth system of MSV Duisburg before he was promoted in the summer of 2010. On 3 January 2013, he left MSV Duisburg for Hannover 96. On 20 April 2013, he scored his first goal for Hannover 96 in a 1–6 defeat against FC Bayern Munich. Manuel Schmiedebach (born 5 December 1988) is a German professional Association football, footballer who plays for German side Grün-Weiß Ahrensfelde. Career Born in West Berlin, Schmiedebach was first a product of hometown club Hertha BSC's youth teams.
