2015–16 Georgian Cup
The 2015–16 Georgian Cup (also known as the ''David Kipiani Cup'') was the nighteen season overall and the twenty-six since independence of the Georgia (country), Georgian annual Association football, football tournament. The competition began on 17 August 2015 and finished on 18 May 2016. The defending champions are FC Dinamo Tbilisi, Dinamo Tbilisi, after winning their twelfth Georgian Cup 2014–15 Georgian Cup, last season. The winner of the competition qualified for the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League#First qualifying round, first qualifying round of the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League. FC Dinamo Tbilisi ( ka, დინამო თბილისი, ) is a Georgian professional football club based in Tbilisi that competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top flight of Georgian football. Dinamo Tbilisi was one of the most prominent clubs in Soviet football and a major contender in the Soviet Top League almost immediately after it was established in 1936. The club was then part of one of the leading sport societies in the Soviet Union, the All-Union Dynamo sports society which had several other divisions besides football and was sponsored by the Soviet Ministry of Internal Affairs. Keda ( ka, ქედა ) is an urban-type settlement ( ''daba'') in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, in southwestern Georgia, located east of the regional capital Batumi. FC Shukura Kobuleti, commonly known as Shukura Kobuleti or simply Shukura, is a Georgian football club from Kobuleti, the second largest city in Adjara.
