2015–16 Four Hills Tournament
The 2015–16 Four Hills Tournament took place at the four traditional venues of Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, and Bischofshofen, located in Germany and Austria, between 29 December 2015 and 6 January 2016. Peter Prevc won the competition ahead of Severin Freund and Michael Hayböck. By winning the tournament, Prevc became the second ski jumper from Slovenia to win it after Primož Peterka in 1996–97. This was the first tournament since 2007–08 which was not won by an Austrian ski jumper, ending the seven-year streak of the Austrian team. 2015–16 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2015–16 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 37th FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 2015–16 FIS Ski Flying World Cup, 19th official World Cup season in ski flying and the 5th World Cup season for ladies. It began on 21 November 2015 in Klingenthal, Germany and concluded on 20 March 2016 in Planica, Slovenia. For men, the title holders from the previous season were Severin Freund in overall, Peter Prevc in ski flying, and Germany in the nations cup. For ladies, Daniela Iraschko-Stolz was defending the overall title and Austria the nations cup. Almaty and the country of Kazakhstan hosted ski jumping World Cup events for the first time in history. Several events had to be cancelled or rescheduled to other venues due to weather conditions. Andreas Wellinger
Andreas Wellinger (born 28 August 1995) is a German ski jumper. His career-best achievements include an individual gold and silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He also won a team gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics and a team silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, mixed team gold at the 2017 and 2023 Ski Jumping World Championships, an individual silver medal at the 2017 and 2023 World Championships and individual silver medal at the 2024 Ski Flying World Championships. Daiki Itō
is a Japanese former ski jumper who competed at FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup level between 2002 and 2022. Career He won two bronze medals in the team large hill event at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships (FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007, 2007, FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009, 2009). Roman Koudelka
Roman Koudelka (; born 9 July 1989) is a Czech ski jumping, ski jumper. Career Koudelka's first world cup start was in Kuusamo on 24 November 2006. He finished in 31st position. He ended the season 39th in the world cup standings with 87 points. The following season he finished 17th in the world cup standings with 411 points. In the 2008/09 season, he finished 16th with 403 points. He tied for 63rd in the 2009/10 campaign with just 20 points. He finished in 16th place in the world cup standings for a second time in the 2010/11 season after scoring 382 points. Daniel-André Tande (; born 24 January 1994) is a Norwegian ski jumper, 2018 ski flying World Champion and 2018 team Olympic champion. Career Tande's first World Cup start was in Bad Mitterndorf on 11 January 2014. On 25 November 2015, he achieved his first-ever World Cup win in Klingenthal. On 1 January 2017 he won his second World Cup event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. On 20 January 2018, Tande achieved the gold medal of the 2018 Ski Flying World Championships. Richard "Richi" Freitag (; born 14 August 1991) is a German former ski jumper who competed at World Cup level from 2010 to 2022. He was runner-up in the overall 2017–18 Ski Jumping World Cup, and won the bronze medal at the 2018 Ski Flying World Championships. Johann André Forfang (born 4 July 1995) is a Norwegian Ski jumping, ski jumper and 2018 team Olympic champion. Career Like his older brother Daniel Forfang he represents the club Tromsø SK. Stefan Kraft (born 13 May 1993) is an Austrian ski jumper.
