2015–16 FK Kukësi Season
The 2015–16 season is FK Kukësi's 4th consecutive season in the Kategoria Superiore and 86th year in existence as a football club. Season overview June In the late days of May, fullbacks Erjon Dushku and Dritan Smajli announced their departure from the club after terminating their respective contracts by mutual consensus. Their departures were followed by the departure of the Brazilian left-back Marcio Borges dos Santos, Márcio Pit, whose contract expired and the club refused to extend it. On 12 June, Kukësi acquired the services of KF Tirana, Tirana's center-back Gentian Muça for the club's European campaign. One day later, Hair Zeqiri was released from the club after his contract was not extended. On 16 June, Kukësi parted ways with the goalkeeper Argjent Halili and midfielder Yll Hoxha after three seasons of cooperating. Futboll Klub Kukësi is an Albanian professional football club based in the city of Kukës. The club plays its home games at the Kukës Arena and currently competes in the Kategoria e Parë, the second highest division of Albanian football. The club played in the lower divisions for most of its history since 1930, before being promoted to the Kategoria Superiore in 2012, where it has won the title once and finished runner-up six times. Felipe Moreira dos Santos (born 28 November 1988 in Rio de Janeiro), commonly known as Felipe Moreira, is a Brazilian footballer. Jean Agostinho da Silva (born 1 June 1988), commonly known as Jean Carioca, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a attacking midfielder. Yll Hoxha (born 26 December 1987) is a Kosovar professional footballer who plays for Suhareka and the Kosovo national team as a midfielder. Club career In 2009, he played for Turun Palloseura (TPS) in the Finnish Veikkausliiga, making his league debut against FC Lahti on 31 May 2009. In the summer of 2009 he signed for Hysi.
