2015–16 FC Inter Baku Season
The Inter Baku 2015–16 season is Inter Baku's fifteenth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their first season under manager Zaur Svanadze. They will compete in the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League, entering at the first qualifying round stage, the Azerbaijan Cup and the League. Shamakhi FK (, ) is an Azerbaijani professional association football, football club based in Shamakhi, that currently competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League. The club has won the Premier League title twice. History Early years (1997–2004) The club has been functioning since 1997, initially as an amateur side that shared its name with Khazar University, the first private university in Azerbaijan, which founded the club. In 1999, Khazar University began to play in the Azerbaijan Premier League, finishing eleventh. In subsequent years, Inter finished in 7th place (2000/01 season) and 3rd place (2003–04 season). In the 2003–04 season, the team finished in fourth place, thereby qualifying for the UEFA Intertoto Cup for the first time. Nizami Hajiyev
Nizami Hajiyev (; born 8 February 1988) is an Azerbaijani football midfielder who is currently banned from football by the AFFA. Career Club Hajiyev started his career with Olimpik Baku in 2006, before moving in 2008 to Khazar Lankaran. In May 2013 Hajiyev moved from Keshla and signed a one-year contract with Gabala. Hajiyev left Gabala on 7 August 2014. On 30 November 2017, Keshla FK confirmed that they had terminated Hajiyev's contract due to suspicion of manipulating matches. The following day, 1 December 2017, Hajiyev was banned from all footballing activities by the AFFA. Shuvalan FK (, ) was an Azerbaijani football club based in Şüvəlan, Baku. The club was founded in 2005 and dissolved in 2019. The club was renamed four times in its short history, becoming Olimpik Baku, Olimpik-Shuvalan Baku, AZAL and Shuvalan. UEFA is still recognizing the club as Olimpik-Shuvalan at European competitions. Gabala SC (, ), also spelled Qabala, is an Azerbaijani professional football club based in Qabala, which have competed in the Azerbaijan Premier League since 2006. Vojislav Stanković (Serbian Cyrillic: Војислав Станковић; born 22 September 1987) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Teleoptik. He can operate as either a left-back or centre-back. Khazar Lankaran FK () was an Azerbaijani football club based in Lankaran that last played in the Azerbaijan Premier League during the 2015–16 season. Cesar Daniel Meza Colli (born 5 October 1991) is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder, most recently for Araz-Naxçıvan. Yuriy Fomenko (; born 31 December 1986 in Kotelva, Poltava Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a professional Ukrainian football striker who plays for FC Rukh Vynnyky.
