2015–16 Euroleague Top 16
The 2015–16 Euroleague Top 16 was played from 29 December 2015 to 7 April 2016. A total of 16 teams competed in the Top 16 to decide the 8 places in the Playoffs. Format In each group, teams played against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The matchdays were 29–30 December, 7–8 January, 14–15 January, 21–22 January, 28–29 January, 4–5 February, 11–12 February, 25–26 February, 3–4 March, 10–11 March, 17–18 March, 24–25 March, 31 March–1 April and 6–7 April 2016. The four first qualified teams advanced to the Playoffs, while the four last qualified teams were eliminated. A total of 8 countries were represented in the Top 16. 2015–16 Euroleague
The 2015–16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 16th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the sixth under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 59th season of the premier competition for European men's professional basketball clubs. The 2016 Euroleague Final was played between CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahçe at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. CSKA Moscow defeated Fenerbahçe 101–96 on extra time in the final to win their seventh European Cup/Euroleague title. Jon Diebler
Jon Keith Diebler (born June 22, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player who is the director of recruiting for the Butler Bulldogs of the Big East Conference. He played four seasons of college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes. High school career Diebler played his freshman season along with his older brother Jake at Fostoria High School for his father, head coach Keith Diebler. The family left when Keith accepted the head coaching position at Upper Sandusky High School, which Jon attended for his remaining three seasons. In Jon's sophomore year, the Upper Sandusky Rams won the state championship, coached by his father. He scored 77 points in a 105–100 win over Tiffin Columbian as a junior. As a senior, he averaged 40.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, and six assists per game. Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall
The Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall (), formerly known as Cibona Sports Centre (), is an indoor sports arena located in Zagreb, Croatia. The official seating capacity of the arena is 5,400. History The arena was built in 1987, to be used at the 1987 Summer Universiade and was then known as the Cibona Sports Centre (). On 4 October 1993, it was renamed after the late former NBA player and basketball Hall of Famer, Dražen Petrović, a former Cibona Zagreb star. On 7 June 2006, on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the death of Dražen Petrović, a museum-memorial center bearing his name was opened next to the hall. Víctor Claver Arocas (born 30 August 1988) is a Spanish former professional basketball player who last served as the team captain for Valencia of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. Malcolm Delaney
Malcolm Hakeem Delaney (born March 11, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player. He is from Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Towson Catholic High School. Delaney played college basketball for the Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team. At the end of his college career, Delaney declared for the 2011 NBA draft. Jacob Pullen
Jacob Everse Pullen (born November 10, 1989) is an American-Georgian professional basketball player for Napoli Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He played for the Kansas State Wildcats. Pullen has both American and Georgian citizenship, and has played for the Georgian national team. College career In his college debut against Sacramento State, Pullen scored 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and ended up scoring in double figures in eight of his first 10 games. James William White IV (born October 21, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player and current player development coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. White is well known for his athleticism and ability to dunk. Since high school, his most famous dunk has been the between-the-legs dunk, with many variations. He is also known for his ability to jump from the free throw line and dunk a basketball with both hands.
