2015–16 Euro Hockey Tour
The 2015–16 Euro Hockey Tour is the 20th season of Euro Hockey Tour. It started on 5 November 2015 and lasted until 30 April 2016. It consisted of Karjala Tournament, Karjala Cup, Channel One Cup (ice hockey), Channel One Cup and Euro Hockey Tour Games. Sweden men's national ice hockey team, Sweden won the tournament. Total standings Karjala Tournament, Karjala Cup The Karjala Tournament, Karjala Cup was played between 5–8 November 2015. Five of the matches were played in Helsinki, Finland, and one match in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. Tournament was won by Sweden. Channel One Cup (ice hockey), Channel One Cup The Channel One Cup (ice hockey), Channel One Cup was played between 17–20 December 2015. Vadim Alexandrovich Shipachyov (; born 12 March 1987) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward for Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He previously played for Severstal Cherepovets, SKA Saint Petersburg, HC Dynamo Moscow, Ak Bars Kazan of the KHL and the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). Werk Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Třinec, Czech Republic. The capacity of the arena is 5,400 people. History The arena was built in 2014. It is currently home to the HC Oceláři Třinec ice hockey team. Also, it hosted the Czech Republic men's tennis team at the 2016 Davis Cup World Group. Nikita Andreyevich Gusev (; born 8 July 1992), nicknamed "Goose", is a Russian professional ice hockey forward currently playing under contract for HC Dynamo Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He became known as one of the best players in the KHL – winning the KHL's Golden Stick (MVP) award in 2018, and 2024 and finished the 2023–24 Season with 89 points (23 goals, 66 assists). Roman Lyubimov (born 6 January 1992) is a Russian professional ice hockey player who is currently under contract with Brûleurs de Loups of the French Synerglace Ligue Magnus. Playing career As a youth, Lyubimov played in the 2005 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a team from Moscow. He most recently played for HC Lada Togliatti in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
