2015 World Women's Handball Championship Squads
This article displays the squads for the 2015 World Women's Handball Championship. Each team consists of up to 28 players, of whom 16 may be fielded for each match. ''Age, club, caps and goals as of 5 December 2015.'' Group A Denmark A 19-player squad was announced on 9 November 2015. On 21 November 2015, Simone Böhme replaced Anne Mette Pedersen due to a small injury, while Pedersen maybe ready for the tournament. On 25 November 2015, the squad was reduced to 17 players. On 29 November 2015, the squad was reduced to 15 players, leaving one spot open. Pedersen was added back on 5 December 2015. On 7 December, Lotte Grigel had to withdraw because of a serious injury, and Anna Sophie Okkels was announced as her replacement. On 17 December, Mette Iversen Sahlholdt replaced Anna Sophie Okkels due to a minor injury on Sandra Toft. Mette Gravholt
Mette Gravholt (born 12 December 1984) is a retired Danish handball player who played for Fredericia HK and Danish national team. Gravholt is openly lesbian. She met Betina Lambæk, with whom she has a son Matteo who was born via ivf in 2017. The couple got married in July 2018. Soon after her wedding, Gravholt announced her retirement as a professional handball player, and started a new job at a primary school in Kolding, where she works as a 1st grade teacher. Team Esbjerg is a women's handball team based in Esbjerg, Denmark, that competes in the Bambusa Kvindeligaen and the 2022–23 Women's EHF Champions League. They play their home matches in Blue Water Dokken, which have capacity for 2,996 spectators. They play games in red shirts and black shorts. The coaching team consists of former national team player Jesper Jensen and the Dutch Assistant coach Ana Razdorov-Lyø. History Team Esbjerg was founded in 1991, as a cooperation between KVIK Esbjerg and Esbjerg Håndboldklub (EHK).
