2015 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 26th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played from 16 May to 19 July 2015. The tournament featured a record 32 participating countries from 5 confederations. The teams were divided into 3 groups and 8 pools. The Group 1 Final Round which served as the volleyball test event of the 2016 Summer Olympics was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 2014 Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2014 AVC Cup for Men was the fourth edition of the Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, AVC Cup for Men, played by top eight teams of the 2013 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, 2013 Asian Championship. Mineirinho Arena (officially Estádio Jornalista Felipe Drummond), sometimes called just Mineirinho, is the biggest indoor sporting arena in Brazil. Located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the arena holds 25,000 people. Mineirinho is located in the Sports Complex of Mineirão Stadium in the Pampulha, which was one of the headquarters of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The nickname (''small Mineiro'') is due to being located close to the larger Mineirão (''big Mineiro''), the stadium. Adelaide Arena (known commercially as Adelaide 36ers Arena) is a multipurpose indoor sports stadium located in Findon, an inner western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is the former home arena for the Adelaide 36ers of the NBL and the current home arena of the Adelaide Lightning of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL).
