2015 UCI Europe Tour
The 2015 UCI Europe Tour was the eleventh season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2015 season began on 29 January 2015 with the Vuelta a Mallorca, Trofeo Santanyí-Ses Salines-Campos and ended on 25 October 2015 with the Tour of Aegean. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Europe Tour cycling jersey. Tom Van Asbroeck of Belgium is the defending champion of the 2014 UCI Europe Tour. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. Valerio Agnoli
Valerio Agnoli (born 6 January 1985) is an Italian road bicycle racer, who last rode for UCI WorldTeam . Career Agnoli was one of the key domestiques for the Liquigas cycling team, where he was often instrumental in victories for Ivan Basso and Vincenzo Nibali during the Giro d'Italia. Agnoli had a very successful junior and amateur career, taking victories in many prestigious Italian races, including the famous Giro della Lunigiana. Agnoli wore the white jersey for the best young rider during the 2010 Giro d'Italia, before a crash including his team-mates Ivan Basso and Vincenzo Nibali caused him to lose it. Rüdiger Selig (born 19 February 1989) is a German former road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2012 to 2024. Born in Zwenkau, Selig competed as an amateur until the middle of 2011, when he joined as a ''stagiaire''. In October, he won the Binche–Tournai–Binche race. In September 2015 announced that Selig would join them for the 2016 season, in order to strengthen the team's sprint train. Lloyd Mondory (born 26 April 1982) is a French restaurateur and former professional road bicycle racer. He competed from 2004 to 2015 for the team, before he was suspended for four years for the use of erythropoietin (EPO). His major career achievements included a victory at the 2008 Grand Prix of Aargau Canton, stage wins in the Étoile de Bessèges, the Vuelta a Burgos and the Paris–Corrèze and second place finish in a stage of the 2008 Vuelta a España. In March 2015, it was announced that Mondory had tested positive for erythropoietin (EPO) in an out-of-competition test taken on 17 February. On 30 October 2015, the UCI announced that Mondory was suspended until 9 March 2019. Mondory did not return to cycling after his ban ended, instead choosing to focus on his restaurant, Oncle Scott's, in Carentan, which opened in 2016.
