2014–15 Ukrainian Second League
The 2014–15 Ukrainian Second League was the 24th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competition commenced 25 July 2014 when Arsenal-Kyivshchyna Bila Tserkva hosted Shakhtar-3 Donetsk in Bila Tserkva. The competition resumed from the winter break with the postponed Round 16 match between Skala Stryi and NPHU-Makiyivvuhillya Nikopol on 21 March 2015. Competition format Ten teams are competing in three stages of round-robin tournament. All teams will play each other in regular format with the first 16 rounds are scheduled for the fall of 2014, while the rest two are planned for the spring of 2015. The draw of the third stage will be based on results of the first two. Ukrainian Second League
The Ukrainian Second League (, ''Druha Liha'') is a professional football league in Ukraine which is part of the Professional Football League of Ukraine, a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. As the third tier it was established in 1992 as the Transitional League and changed its name the next season. The league is lower than the Ukrainian First League (''Persha Liha'') and the lowest level of professional football competitions in the country. Since 1996 the league, after being merged with its lower tier (in 1992–1995 there was the Third League), consists of two main regions roughly north-west and south-east. FC Shakhtar Donetsk
Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk () is a Ukrainian professional Association football, football club that was based in the city of Donetsk until 2014 when, due to the War in Donbas (2014–2022), War in Donbas, the club was forced to move to Lviv, and played matches in Lviv (2014–2016) and in Kharkiv (2017–2020) whilst having its office headquarters and training facilities in Kyiv. The 2015–16 Ukrainian First League was the 25th since its establishment. The competition commenced on 26 July 2015 with eight matches. The competition had a winter break which began after Round 18 on November 22. The competition resumed on 26 March 2016 and completed on 1 June 2016. Nikopol Raion () is a raions of Ukraine, raion (district) of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Nikopol, Ukraine, Nikopol. Krystal Kherson was a professional football club from Kherson in Ukraine that has a long history in the Soviet and then the Ukrainian Leagues. Shakhtar Sverdlovsk () was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Luhansk oblast's Sverdlovsk city (Dovzhansk). Football Club Kramatorsk (; ) is a professional Ukrainian football club from the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast.
