2014–15 St Mirren F.C. Season
The 2014–15 in Scottish football, 2014–15 season is the club's second season in the Scottish Premiership (association football), Scottish Premiership and their ninth consecutive appearance in the top flight of Scottish football. St Mirren will also compete in the 2014–15 Scottish League Cup, League Cup and the 2014–15 Scottish Cup, Scottish Cup. Month by month review May On 12 May it was announced that Danny Lennon would not be offered a new contract by the club, bringing an end to his four-year reign as St Mirren manager. On 13 May the club confirmed former first team coach Tommy Craig as new St Mirren manager. Club captain, Jim Goodwin, and Gary Teale were also appointed as player-coaches to assist Craig. Danny Lennon
Daniel Joseph Lennon (born 6 April 1969) is a Scottish football manager and former player, who was most recently the manager of Scottish League One club Clyde. In his playing career he is best known for his spells at Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle. He also experienced international football with the Northern Ireland B side during his spell at Raith. Lennon began his managerial career with Cowdenbeath, the club where he ended his playing days. After a successful period with the Fife club, he was appointed St Mirren manager in 2010. He won the 2012–13 Scottish League Cup with St Mirren, but his contract was not renewed when it expired in 2014. After a caretaker spell in charge of the Scotland under-21s, he managed Alloa Athletic during 2015. After a spell as acting head coach of Airdrieonians, Lennon was appointed Clyde manager in November 2017. Under his management, Clyde secured promotion back to Scottish League One in 2019. Darren McGregor
Darren McGregor (born 7 August 1985) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is a coach at Scottish Premiership club Hibernian. McGregor has had two spells with Cowdenbeath during his career. In his first spell he made his professional debut before being released and then plying his trade in junior football with Arniston Rangers in Midlothian. McGregor returned to Cowdenbeath in 2008. He then played with St Mirren for four years, during when he suffered two serious knee injuries. After one season with Rangers, McGregor signed for Hibernian in 2015. He helped them win the Scottish Cup in 2016 and promotion in 2016–17. Mark Ridgers
Mark Ridgers (born 9 August 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper who plays for side Clachnacuddin. He has previously played for Heart of Midlothian, Ross County, St Mirren, Partick Thistle, Orlando City B in the United Soccer League, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Buckie Thistle, as well as Airdrie United, East Fife and Kilmarnock on loan. Marián Kello
Marián Kello (born 5 September 1982) is a Slovak former international footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Kello played for 1. FC Košice, FC Vítkovice, FBK Kaunas, Heart of Midlothian, Astra Giurgiu, Wolverhampton Wanderers, St Mirren, Aris Limassol and has represented Slovakia. Club career He began his career at Slovak side 1. FC Košice in 2001, where he spent a year of his career before moving to Czech side, FC Vítkovice at the age of 19. After a four-year spell with Vítkovice, he moved to Lithuanian champions FBK Kaunas. Paul McGowan (footballer)
Paul McGowan (born 7 October 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Annan Athletic. McGowan started his career with Scottish Premier League club Celtic, but struggled to break into the first team and was sent out on loan several times. He spent the 2006–07 season with third-tier side Morton, where he won the Second Division title and received individual accolades. Having made only two appearances following his return to Celtic, he spent the second half of the 2008–09 season with Hamilton Academical in the SPL. He moved on loan to another SPL side, St Mirren, for the 2010–11 season, after which Celtic released him from his contract and he signed with St Mirren permanently. Adam Campbell (born 1 January 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Hartlepool United. He played in the Premier League for Newcastle United, in the Scottish Premiership for St Mirren, in the Football League for Carlisle United, Fleetwood Town, Hartlepool United, Notts County and Morecambe, and in the National League North for Darlington.
