The 2014–15 season of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, the highest association football league in the state of Baden-Württemberg, was the seventh season of the league at tier five (V) of the German football league system and the 37th season overall since establishment of the league in 1978. Oberliga Baden-Württemberg
The Oberliga Baden-Württemberg is the highest association football league in the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Baden-Württemberg football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Overview The league was formed in 1978 as the highest level of play in the state. Previous to that, the four Amateurligas Nordwürttemberg, Schwarzwald-Bodensee, Südbaden and Nordbaden formed the tier right below the 2nd Bundesliga. The Amateurligas changed their name since into Verbandsliga. The Amateurligas Nordwürttemberg and Schwarzwald-Bodensee merged to form the Verbandsliga Württemberg. SC Pfullendorf
SC Pfullendorf is a German sports club based in Pfullendorf, Baden-Württemberg. The 700-member club is best known for its football department, but also has departments for chess, table tennis and ice stock sport, a winter sport similar to curling. History The club was founded on 2 August 1919, as part of the gymnastics club ''TV Pfullendorf''. It became independent in 1921 under the name ''SC Pfullendorf'' and was officially registered as a club on 25 February 1924. After World War II was renamed ''SV Pfullendorf'' and played eight matches under this name in the 1945–46 season of the amateur Einheitsklasse Bodensee/Schwarzwald league. The club was then disbanded, but promptly reorganized as ''FC Pfullendorf'' on 21 September 1946, and re-claimed the name ''SC Pfullendorf'', on 23 June 1950. 2015–16 Regionalliga
The 2015–16 Regionalliga was the eighth season of the Regionalliga, the fourth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga Nord – SV Werder Bremen II, the champions of the Regionalliga Nordost – 1. FC Magdeburg, and the champions of Regionalliga Bayern – Würzburger Kickers were promoted to the 3. Liga. Borussia Dortmund II, SpVgg Unterhaching and SSV Jahn Regensburg were relegated from 3. Liga. Regionalliga Nord 18 teams from the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein competed in the fourth season of the reformed Regionalliga Nord. 15 teams were retained from the last season and 3 teams were promoted from the Oberliga – Niedersachsenliga champions SV Drochtersen/Assel and the two Regionalliga North promotion playoff winners VfV 06 Hildesheim, Niedersachsenliga runners-up, and TSV Schilksee, Schleswig-Holstein-Liga champions. FC 08 Villingen
FC 08 Villingen is a German association football club based in Villingen-Schwenningen, Baden-Württemberg. The association was founded on 1 October 1908 and over time absorbed other local clubs including ''Germania'', ''Alemania'' and ''Phönix''. __TOC__ History By the mid-20s the club was playing in the highest level local league, the '' Bezirksliga Baden'', but had descended to lower level play by the early 30s. They recovered themselves to return to high level district league play by the end of the decade and in 1935 sent defender Hermann Gramlich (3 caps) to the national side.
