2014–15 Luge World Cup
The 2014–15 Luge World Cup is a multi race tournament over a season for luge organised by the International Luge Federation, FIL. The season started on 29 November 2014 in Olympic Sliding Centre Innsbruck, Igls, Austria and ended on 28 February 2015 in Sliding Center Sanki, Sochi, Russia. Felix Loch
Felix Loch (; born 24 July 1989) is a German luger and Olympic champion. He has been competing since 1995 and on the German national team since 2006. He has won fourteen medals at the FIL World Luge Championships, including twelve golds (Men's singles: FIL World Luge Championships 2008, 2008, FIL World Luge Championships 2009, 2009, FIL World Luge Championships 2012, 2012, FIL World Luge Championships 2013, 2013, 2015 FIL World Luge Championships, 2015, 2016 FIL World Luge Championships, 2016; Men's sprint 2016 FIL World Luge Championships, 2016: Mixed team event: 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016) and two silvers (Men's singles: FIL World Luge Championships 2011, 2011, 2015 FIL World Luge Championships, 2015). Inārs Kivlenieks (born 4 July 1986 in Riga) is a Latvian luger who has competed since 2005. His best Luge World Cup season finish was 20th in men's doubles in 2006–07. Kivlenieks' best finish at the FIL World Luge Championships was 28th in men's singles at Oberhof in 2008. His best finish at the FIL European Luge Championships was 13th in men's singles at Cesana Pariol in 2008. Johannes Ludwig (born 14 February 1986) is an Olympic gold medal-winning German luger who has competed since 1996. He won a bronze medal in the Team relay event at the FIL European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda. Chris Mazdzer
Christopher Mazdzer (; born June 26, 1988) is an American retired luger. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, he won the silver medal in the men's single luge, becoming the first non-European medalist in that event. He competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, finishing 13th on both occasions. Samuel "Sam" Edney (born June 29, 1984) is a retired Canadian luger who has competed since 2000. Competing in four Winter Olympics. Career Early start and Olympic debut Edney got into the sport at the age of 14 and began competing at the 2000 Canadian Junior Championship in Calgary. In 2004, Edney would return to Calgary to win second place in doubles at the Junior World Cup Champs. In 2006, he made his Olympic debut in Turin, finishing nineteenth overall. Tucker West (born June 15, 1995) is an American luger who, at the age of 18, was the youngest male ever to qualify to represent the United States in the men's luge at the Olympics. West placed 22nd in the men's single competition at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Career West attended National Sports Academy High in Lake Placid, New York. Before going away to school he was a resident of Ridgefield, Connecticut. When West was a boy, his father designed and built a wood luge track in the backyard of their Ridgefield home. Kevin Fischnaller (born 2 December 1993 in Brixen, Italy) is an Italian luge athlete who has competed in the Luge World Cup for Italy since 2011. During the 2014-15 Luge World Cup he won a bronze at Iglis in the men's spirit event.
