2014–15 Lebanese Premier League
The 2014–15 Lebanese Premier League was the 54th season of top-tier football in Lebanon. A total of twelve teams are competing in the league, with Al Nejmeh the defending champions. The season kicked off on 26 September 2014 and will finish around June 2015. Al Ahed won the league, while Tadamon Sour and Al-Akhaa Al-Ahli Aley were relegated to the second tier. Teams Al-Mabarrah and Al Egtmaaey Tripoli were relegated to the second level of Lebanese football after ending the 2013–14 season in the bottom two places. They were replaced by Nabi Sheet and Shabab Al-Ghazieh Chabab Sporting Club Ghazieh (), known as Chabab Ghazieh or simply Ghazieh, is a football club based in Ghazieh, Lebanon, that competes in the . Al Ahed
Al Ahed Football Club () is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The club was founded in 1964 as Al Ahed Al Jadeed, initially starting in the Third Division before reaching the Premier League for the first time in 1996. Nicknamed "the Yellow Castle" (), Ahed have won one AFC Cup title, nine Premier League titles, six FA Cup titles, two Federation Cup titles, eight Super Cup titles, and six Elite Cup titles. They secured their first league title in 2008 and have achieved three unbeaten seasons (in 2010, 2018 and 2022). Richard Tardy
Richard Francis Emile Tardy (born 29 July 1950) is a French former professional Association football, football player and manager. He led several clubs and national teams as a coach. Career Tardy has managed in the Superleague Greece with Aris Thessaloniki F.C., and led the Lebanon national football team before managing Africa Sports in Côte d'Ivoire. He managed OC Khouribga during the 2008–09 GNF 1 season. Tardy coached the Rwanda national under-17 football team to a second-place finish at the 2011 African U-17 Championship, before leading the team at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup finals. Zgharta (, ), also spelled Zghorta, is a city in North Lebanon, with an estimated population of around 50,000. It is the second biggest city in Northern Lebanon after Tripoli, Lebanon, Tripoli. Moussa Ali Hojeij (; born 6 August 1974) is a Lebanese football manager and former player. Hojeij was the best player in the Al-Manar Football Festival several times, and was captain of the national team. He is also a match analyst for Lebanon national team matches on beIN Sports. Club career Hojeij joined Nejmeh's youth team on 26 February 1993. In 2000, Hojeij became the first captain to win the Lebanese Premier League title for Nejmeh after the civil war. In 2006 he was released by Nejmeh after scoring a total of 75 league goals, and signed with Mabarra. In 2008 Hojeij signed for Lebanese Second Division club Khoyol, and in the summer of 2009 he signed with Shabab Sahel. Hojeij returned to Nejmeh in 2011, retiring in 2013.
