Jordan League
The Jordanian Pro League () is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league was not held in the years: 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in 1998. In 2002, the league changed calendar to a fall spring season, and in 2020 the league returned to a spring fall season. From the 2023-24 season, the Jordan Football Association, JFA decided to return to the fall spring calendar to match the date of the league with the Asian championships. Al Buqa'a
Al-Baqa'a Club () is a professional football club based in Ain Al-Basha District, Balqa Governorate, Jordan. It currently competes in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football. It was formed by a Palestinian Baqa'a refugee camp in 1968. The club is owned by Husni Jallad, Abdulla Mustafa and Khaled Mustafa. The club has various sponsorships with the biggest being Aya's Knafeh which supplies Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. FTATRONIX INC has been another partner of the club, being responsible for the digital marketing and broadcasting. Stadium Al-Baqa'a plays their home games at Amman International Stadium in Amman. The stadium was built on 1964 and opened on 1968, it is owned by The Jordanian government and operated by The higher council of youth. Irbid (), known in ancient times as Arabella or Arbela (Άρβηλα in Ancient Greek language, Ancient Greek), is the capital and largest city of Irbid Governorate. It has the second-largest metropolitan population in Jordan after Amman, with a population of around 2,003,800. As a city, Irbid is Jordan's third-largest, after Amman and Zarqa. Irbid is located about north of Amman on the northern ridge of the Gilead, equidistant from Pella, Jordan, Pella, Beit Ras (Capitolias), and Um Qais, and approximately south of the Syrian border. Al-Wahdat
Al-Wehdat Sports Club () is a Jordanian sports club founded in 1956. They compete in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football. The club is based in and represents the Amman New Camp, a Palestinian refugee camp also known as Al-Wehdat. Their home games are played at King Abdullah II Stadium (cap. 13,265). History The club was founded in 1956 under the name Al-Wehdat Youth Center. In 1974, they changed their name to Al-Wehdat Sports Club and have been called that since then (with the exception of 1986–1989 when it was named Al-Diffatain Sports Club.) Al-Wehdat has 54 local trophies from 1980. They won the second division in 1975 and promoted to the first division for the first time, but were relegated in their first season.
