Hannoverscher Sportverein von 1896, commonly referred to as Hannover 96 (), is a German professional association football, football club based in the city of Hanover, Lower Saxony. They played in the Bundesliga for a total of 30 years between 1964 and 2019 and currently play in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier in the German football league system, having been relegated from the Bundesliga, Germany's first tier, after finishing 17th in the 2018–19 Bundesliga, 2018–19 season. Ceyhun Gülselam (born 25 December 1987) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a center back and defensive midfielder. He plays for Altay. Club career Gülselam also played eight years for the Bayern Munich Junior Team before joining SpVgg Unterhaching. Jimmy Julien Briand (born 2 August 1985) is a French former professional footballer. He started his career as a striker, but was later used as a winger, playing in Ligue 1 for Rennes, Lyon, Guingamp and Bordeaux, as well as in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96 in a professional career lasting 20 years. Felipe Trevizan Martins or simply Felipe (born 15 May 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Lemense. Career On 28 August 2009, Felipe Trevizan transferred from Coritiba Foot Ball Club to Belgium club Standard Liège, the transfer fee was € 1.2 million, plus an option for his old club with 10% involved in the resale. Christian Schulz
Christian Schulz (born 1 April 1983) is a German former professional Association football, footballer and current manager who played as a centre back or left-back. He is currently the interim manager of Hannover 96. Club career Schulz joined SV Werder Bremen, Werder Bremen in 1995 at the age of twelve and stepped up to the reserve side, playing in the Regionalliga Nord in 2001–02. He made his Bundesliga debut on 15 February 2003 as a substitute against 1. FC Nürnberg. When Ümit Davala was injured, Schulz stepped in and made the left-back position his own. Marius Stankevičius (born 15 July 1981) is a Lithuanian professional football manager and former player who works as head coach of A Lyga club TransINVEST. André Hoffmann (born 28 February 1993) is a German footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or central defender. Markus Miller (born 8 April 1982) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Jan Schlaudraff (born 18 July 1983) is a German professional football official and a former player who played as a midfielder and striker. He is the managing director of sports for the Austrian club SKN St. Pölten. José Luis Mato Sanmartín (born 27 March 1990), known as Joselu, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Qatar Stars League club Al-Gharafa and the Spain national team. Joselu began his career with Celta Vigo, before being purchased by Real Madrid in the summer of 2009.
