2014–15 Everton F.C. Season
The 2014–15 season was Everton F.C., Everton's 23rd season in the Premier League and 61st consecutive season in the top division of Football in England, English football. It is also Everton's 116th season of league football and List of Everton F.C. seasons, 118th season in all competitions. The club finished fifth in the previous campaign to qualify for the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League, Europa League, which saw Everton play in Europe for the first time since the 2009–10 season. Samuel Eto'o Fils (; born 10 March 1981) is a Cameroonian Association football, football administrator and former Football player, player who is the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation. He is often regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time and one of the greatest African players of all time. Steven John Naismith (born 14 September 1986) is a Scottish professional association football, football coach and former player. Naismith began his career with Kilmarnock F.C., Kilmarnock in 2004. He spent four years with the Ayrshire side where he won the SFWA Young Player of the Year award in 2006 and the SPFA Young Player of the Year award the following season. Séamus Coleman ( ; born 11 October 1988) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for and captains both club Everton and the Republic of Ireland national team. Originally a Gaelic footballer, Coleman started his association football career with St Catherine's in Killybegs. Muhamed Bešić (; born 10 September 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Serbian SuperLiga club Spartak Subotica.
