Kaisa Mäkäräinen
Kaisa Leena Mäkäräinen (born 11 January 1983) is a Finnish former world-champion and 3-time world-cup-winning biathlete, who currently competes for Kontiolahden Urheilijat. Outside sports, Mäkäräinen is currently studying to be a Physics teacher at the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu. Her team coach is Jonne Kähkönen, while Jarmo Punkkinen is her ski coach. Career Mäkäräinen was originally a cross-country skier and focused on this until the age of twenty. She started training for the biathlon in 2003. In 2004, she made the Finnish National Team. 2005 saw Mäkäräinen compete at the Biathlon World Championships for the first time. Her best placings in the Biathlon World Championships have occurred at the 2007 World Championships in Antholz-Anterselva, where she placed eighth in the individual 15 and seventh in the mass start events. Ekaterina Yurlova
Ekaterina Viktorovna Yurlova-Percht (; born 23 February 1985) is a former Russian biathlete. She debuted at the World Cup in 2008. In 2015, she won World Championships at 15 km individual distance, which was her first victory at the World Cup. On 17 October 2015, Yurlova married Josef Percht, masseur of the Austrian biathlon team. Since then she is known as Yurlova-Percht. On 13 November 2016, she gave birth to Kira. Weronika Nowakowska-Ziemniak
Weronika Nowakowska (born 7 July 1986) is a Polish biathlete. Career Nowakowska competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics for Poland. Her best performance was 5th in the individual, missing only one shot. Had she shot clear, her time would have placed her 2nd. She also finished 21st in the mass start, 36th in the sprint, 28th in the pursuit and 12th as part of the relay team. As of February 2013, her best performance at the Biathlon World Championships, is 6th, as part of the 2009 Polish women's relay team. Her best individual performance is 9th, in the 2012 mass start. As of February 2013, Nowakowska has finished on the podium once in the Biathlon World Cup, winning a bronze as part of the Polish women's relay team in Hochfilzen during the 2008/09 season. Her best individual performance is 7th, achieved twice in sprint races. Her best overall finish in the Biathlon World Cup is 24th, in 2011/12. Marie Dorin Habert
Marie Dorin Habert (born 19 June 1986) is a retired French biathlete. Career She became junior world champion in relay (2004 and 2005). She represented France at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She was also on the bronze medal-winning French relay team at the Biathlon World Championships 2009. Dorin won a bronze in the women's 7.5 km sprint on 13 February 2010 and a silver in the relay. She won her first individual world cup victory at the 2015 world championships in Kontiolahti, Finland, in the sprint event, which was her first World Champion title as well. The next day she won the world championships pursuit, making it her second individual world cup victory and second gold medal in the world championships.
