The 2014–15 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 45th staging of the All-Ireland championship since its establishment in 1970. The championship began on 12 October 2014 and ended on 17 March 2015. Portumna were the defending champions. Ballyhale Shamrocks won the title after a 1-18 to 1-6 win against Kilmallock in the final. Graeme Mulcahy
Graeme Mulcahy (born 2 June 1990) is an Irish hurling, hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for club side Kilmallock GAA, Kilmallock and previously at inter-county level for the Limerick GAA, Limerick senior hurling team. Playing career Kilmallock Mulcahy joined the Kilmallock GAA, Kilmallock club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels, enjoying championship success in the minor and under-21 grades. He made his senior championship debut as a seventeen-year-old during the 2007 championship. On 3 October 2010, Mulcahy lined out in his first Limerick Senior Hurling Championship, Limerick Senior Championship final. He scored 1-01 from play in the 1-16 to 1-12 defeat of divisional side Emmets GAA, Emmets. Clare Senior Hurling Championship
The Clare Senior Hurling Championship or Clare SHC, is an annual hurling competition organised by the Clare GAA, Clare County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It is contested by the top-ranking senior hurling clubs in County Clare, Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition in Clare hurling. Introduced in 1887 as the Clare Hurling Championship, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open only to senior-ranking club teams. The championship has gone through a number of changes throughout the years, including the use of a round robin, before reverting to a straight knockout format. Ollie Baker
Oliver Baker (born 14 July 1974) is an Irish former hurler who played as a midfielder for the Clare senior hurling team. Baker made his first appearance for the team during the 1994–95 National League and became a regular member of the starting fifteen over the next decade. During that time he won two All-Ireland winners' medals, three Munster Senior Hurling Championship winner's medals and three All-Star awards. He ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. At club level Baker is an All-Ireland medalist with St Joseph's Doora-Barefield. He also won two Munster winners' medals and three county club championship winners' medals. In retirement from playing Baker became involved in team management. He served as a selector with Clare, Westmeath and Antrim, before taking over as manager of the Offaly senior hurling team for two seasons. He is the current manager of the Kilmacud Crokes club. Dublin Senior Hurling Championship
The Dublin Senior Hurling Championship () is an annual hurling competition organised by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 1887 for the top hurling clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. Sixteen clubs compete. Initially the teams are divided into four groups of four with the group matches being played from April to May with a break to accommodate the All-Ireland Championship and resume during August or September. The group stage is followed by a knock-out phase which takes place during the months of October and November. Sponsored by Go-Ahead, it is therefore officially known as the Go-Ahead Dublin Senior Hurling Championship. Kilmacud Crokes GAA
Kilmacud Crokes () is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Ireland. Background Kilmacud GAA club was formed in 1959 following a public meeting in Saint Laurence's Hall, where Stillorgan shopping centre now stands. The first meeting of the club took place on 12 March 1959. Sixty people attended the meeting and donated a shilling each, meaning the club made Irish pound, IR£3.30 on the night. The club decided to use green-and-white jerseys, but they later decided to use the gold-and-purple colours, some say because of the local school Scoil Lorcain Naofa who also use gold and purple, others say it was because blue are the colours of the crocus. In 1963 the club purchased a -acre site behind the Ormonde Cinema as a permanent home pitch for themselves, Páirc de Burca, and in 1965 the adjoining Glenalbyn House was bought. The 2013 Offaly Senior Hurling Championship was the 116th staging of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment in 1896. The championship began on 10 May 2013 and ended on 6 October 2013. Kilcormac–Killoughey were the reigning champions, and they successfully defended their title following a 1–21 to 1–14 defeat of Birr. Lusmagh, who defeated St Rynagh's by 4–11 to 2–14 in the final of the intermediate championship in 2012, availed of their right to automatic promotion to the senior championship. Danny Owens
Daniel Owens (born 1959) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. At club level he played with Kilcormac–Killoughey and at inter-county level with the Offaly senior hurling team. Owens is also a former elected representative with Offaly County Council. Playing career Owens had his first Gaelic games success as a student at the Carmelite College in Moate. During his time there, he was part of the college's senior football team and won three successive Leinster Colleges SFC medals. Owens also won a Hogan Cup medal after a defeat of St Jarlath's College in 1976. At club level, Owens began his career at juvenile and underage levels with Na Piarsaigh before progressing to adult level with Killoughey. He won Offaly IHC title in 1980 and 1984. Daniel Currams (born 1989) is an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer who plays as a midfielder and centre-forward for the Offaly senior teams. Born in Kilcormac, County Offaly, Currams first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Offaly minor teams as a dual player, before later joining the under-21 hurling side. He made his senior hurling debut during the 2008 championship before later joining the football side during the 2012 championship. Since then Currams has been a regular member of the hurling team, and has won one National League (Division 2) medal. As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Currams has won one Railway Cup medal. At club level he is a one-time Leinster medallist with Kilcormac–Killoughey. The Offaly Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Molloy Environmental Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition contested by top-tier Offaly GAA clubs. The 1983–84 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 14th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. The championship concluded on 3 June 1984. Loughgiel Shamrocks from Antrim were the defending champions; however, they failed to qualify after being beaten by Ballycastle McQuillans in the Antrim Championship. On 3 June 1984, Ballyhale Shamrocks won the championship after defeating Gort 1-10 to 0-07 in an All-Ireland final replay.
