2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series
The 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series was the 33rd season of the Nationwide Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by the NASCAR in the United States. It began with the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway on February 22, and ended with the Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 15. This was also the final year that the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company sponsored the series, opting for increased involvement in the Sprint Cup Series, as well as the final season the series was broadcast by ESPN. Ford entered the season as the defending Manufacturer's Champion. After 2014, Xfinity became the series sponsor. List Of NASCAR Nationwide Series Champions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series Drivers' Championship is awarded by the chairman in NASCAR to the most successful Xfinity Series racing car driver over a season, as determined by a points system based on race results. The Drivers' Championship was first awarded in 1982, to Jack Ingram. The first driver to win multiple Championships was Sam Ard in 1983 and 1984. The current Drivers' Champion is Daniel Hemric who won his first NASCAR Xfinity Series championship in 2021. Derrike Cope Racing
Derrike Cope Racing with JP Motorsports (formerly known as Creation-Cope Racing, CFK Motorsports, Stratus Racing Group, Cope/Keller Racing and Derrike Cope, Inc, and Quest Motor Racing) was an American professional stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The team was owned by Derrike Cope, and the team fielded the No. 70 Chevrolet Camaro in the Xfinity Series for Cope. The team closed before the start of the 2017 season. Derek White (racing Driver)
Derek White (born December 9, 1970) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 13 Toyota Camry and No. 40 Dodge Challenger as an Owner-Driver (NASCAR), owner/driver for MBM Motorsports. In March 2016, White was arrested and charged for smuggling tobacco from the United States into Canada. He was eventually suspended indefinitely by NASCAR. James Carlyle "Carl" Long (born September 20, 1967) is an American professional stock car racing driver, mechanic, and team owner. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 66 Toyota Supra for MBM Motorsports. In the past, he served as a mechanic for Mansion Motorsports, Spears Motorsports, and Travis Carter Motorsports. Michael Samuel Wallace (born March 10, 1959) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro for JD Motorsports. Jeremy Wayne Clements (born January 16, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He is the son of Tony Clements, owner of Clements Racing Engines. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro for Jeremy Clements Racing. Randy MacDonald (born July 26, 1962) is a Canadian stock car racer and a former competitor in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, Busch Series and Craftsman Truck Series. He is currently team owner of MacDonald Motorsports, which competes in the Nationwide Series. He is the older brother of former NASCAR racer Teri MacDonald. Landon Douglas Cassill (born July 7, 1989) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing. Early career Cassill was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and began racing on a quad when he was 3 years old. Cassill moved to go-karts.
