Toulouse Football Club () is a French professional association football, football club based in Toulouse. The club was founded in 1970 and currently plays in Ligue 1, the first division of Football in France, French football. Toulouse plays its home matches at the Stadium de Toulouse located within the city. ''Les Violets'' won the Coupe de France in 2023 Coupe de France final, 2023, and have won the second tier Ligue 2 on three occasions. Tony Chapron
Tony Chapron (born 23 April 1972) is a French former football referee. Born in Flers, Orne, Chapron took up refereeing in 1996 in conjunction with his job as an educational advisor. He became a full-time referee in 1998 and an international referee in 2007. Career In 2007, a flare thrown by fans at a match between Lyon and Saint-Étienne resulted in police firing tear gas into the crowd, and Chapron ordered the players to retreat to the changing rooms for 20 minutes. Prior to 2008, the only international matches he had refereed were qualifying matches, but in October 2008, Chapron took charge of the UEFA Cup first round second leg between Aston Villa and Litex Lovech; he showed two yellow cards – both to Litex players – but also awarded Litex a penalty kick. He refereed two more UEFA Cup matches in the 2008–09 season, including the Round of 32 second leg between Hamburg and NEC. Cheick Tidiane Diabaté (born 25 April 1988) is a Malian professional footballer. From 2005 to 2016, he played for the Mali national team internationally. Club career Bordeaux Diabaté was promoted to the senior squad of Girondins de Bordeaux for the 2008–09 season following a successful season in the CFA, where he made 35 appearances and scored 18 goals. Marc Planus
Marc Planus (born 7 March 1982) is a French former professional footballer who played as a defender. A one-club man, he played his entire professional career for his local club Bordeaux. He earned one cap for the France national team and was in the squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Club career Planus made his league debut on 9 November 2002, against Rennes. He went on to play seventeen games in Ligue 1 in the 2002–03 season. It was the first of more than 200 league matches. Serge Alain Stéphane Aurier (; born 24 December 1992) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a right-back and captains the Ivory Coast national team. Eden Ben Basat (; born 8 September 1986) is a former Israeli professional footballer who played for the Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Haifa.
