The 2013–14 season was Damash Gilan, Damash's 4th season in the 2013–14 Persian Gulf Cup, Pro League, and their 3rd consecutive season in the top division of Football in Iran, Iranian Football and 6th year in existence as a football club. Sport Club Damash Guilan (, ''Bashgah-e Vârzeshi-ye Damash Guilân''), commonly known as Damash Guilan sc, also spelled Damash Guilan, is an Iranian football club based in Rasht, Guilan, that competes in the Azadegan League. The club was founded in 1960 as Taj Rasht Football Club (). The football team plays its home games at the Shahid Dr. Azodi Stadium which has a seating capacity of 11,000. Persepolis (; ; ) was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (). It is situated in the plains of Marvdasht, encircled by the southern Zagros mountains, Fars province of Iran. It is one of the key Iranian cultural heritage sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BC. The city, acting as a major center for the empire, housed a palace complex and citadel designed to serve as the focal point for governance and ceremonial activities.
