2013–14 Persepolis F.C. Season
The 2013–14 season was the Persepolis F.C., Persepolis's List of Persepolis F.C. seasons, 13th season in the Iran Pro League, Pro League, and their 31st consecutive season in the top division of Football in Iran, Iranian Football. They were also competing in the Hazfi Cup but were eliminated by Foolad F.C., Foolad in Quarter-finals. Persepolis was captained by Mohammad Nouri (footballer), Mohammad Nouri. Persepolis F
Persepolis (; ; ) was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (). It is situated in the plains of Marvdasht, encircled by the southern Zagros mountains, Fars province of Iran. It is one of the key Iranian cultural heritage sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BC. Foolad Khuzestan Football Club (, ''Bāshgāh-e Futbāl-e Fulād-e Khuzestān'') is an Iranian professional football club based in Ahvaz, Khuzestan, that plays in Persian Gulf Pro League. The club was founded in 1971 and is owned by Foolad Khuzestan Company. The club has won Iran Pro League twice, including a championship in the lower division, Azadegan League. 2012–13 Azadegan League
The 2012–13 Azadegan League was the 22nd season of the Azadegan League and 12th as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 19 teams from the 2011–12 Azadegan League, three new teams relegated from the 2011–12 Persian Gulf Cup ( Shahin Bushehr, Shahrdari Tabriz and Mes Sarcheshmeh) and four new teams promoted from the 2011–12 2nd Division ( Esteghlal Ahvaz as champions, Gostaresh Foulad and Hafari Ahvaz).
