2013–14 KF Tirana Season
The 2013–14 season was KF Tirana, Klubi i Futbollit Tirana's 75th competitive season, 75th consecutive season in the Kategoria Superiore and 93rd year in existence as a football club. The team's performance in the first half of the league season was among the worst in the club's history, losing 10 of 16 games, at times ranking at the bottom of the league. The team's manager was changed four times, and they were eliminated from the 2013–14 Albanian Cup, Albanian Cup in the second round. However, the club made a dramatic comeback in the second half of the season, winning 11 of 17 games with a single loss, allowing them to finish in 6th place and avoid relegation. Gilman Lika
Gilman Lika (born 31 January 1987) is an Albanian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Having started his career with Vllaznia Shkodër in 2004, he moved to Turkey in 2008 where he played for Hacettepe, Boluspor and Diyarbakırspor before returning to Albania to play for Tirana. He then had a brief stint in Saudi Arabia with Al-Faisaly before returning to Albania once again to play for Flamurtari Vlorë and Vllaznia Shkodër, before returning to Tirana in July 2015. Klubi i Futbollit Skënderbeu Korçë is an Albanian professional association football, football club based in Korçë, southeastern Albania. Erion Hoxhallari (born 15 October 1995) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Polish club Polonia Warsaw. Club career Early career Hoxhallari started his youth career at Tirana. On 1 July 2011 he was loaned out at Austrian side Grazer AK for a half season. Marsel Çaka
Marsel Çaka (born 31 March 1995) is an Albanian footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for FC Salzweg. Club career Çaka is a product of the KF Tirana academy which he joined as a child, before being promoted to the senior team in January 2013 where he featured in 5 league games in the 2012–13 season. He became the club's first choice goalkeeper for the first half of the 2013–14 season at the age of just 18. Krenar Alimehmeti (born 17 August 1966) is an Albanian retired football player and current manager. Many fans know him as ''Krenar Zhubi''. Playing career Club As a player, he represented KF Tirana formerly known as 17 Nëntori Tirana with whom he won 6 league titles. International He also represented the Albania National Team in 1988 in a World Cup Qualifier against Poland. He started that game and played the full 90 minutes but never featured for Albania again. Managerial career He was named the coach of KS Elbasani before the start of the 2007–2008 season, he left the club after one season. Ilion Lika
Ilion Lika (born 17 May 1980) is an Albanian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. During his 25-year career span, Lika played more than 500 matches on club level. He began his professional career in 1999 with Dinamo Tirana, recording more than 200 appearances in all competitions before leaving for Elbasani in 2007. Lika moved for the first time aboard in January 2008 by joining Terek Grozny of Russian Premier League. He returned in Albania in January 2010, representing in quick succession Vllaznia Shkodër and KS Kastrioti, Kastrioti Krujë before joining Tirana in the summer of that year where he went on to play for the next three years. Darjo Xhuti
Darjo Xhuti (born 9 May 1991) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Xhuti initially came on trial at Albanian Superliga side Tirana at the end of 2012. He also scored in a friendly against Vllaznia Shkodër which ended 2–0 his side. He successfully passed the trial, and on 30 January 2013, Xhuti was presented as the new player of Tirana, signing a contract until the end of the season. He was given squad number 22. Xhuti made his first Tirana appearance by appearing in the last minutes of the goalless away draw against Laçi in the final championship round.
