Kent Senior Cup
The Kent Senior Cup is an English football knock-out competition played between senior clubs in the county of Kent. It is administered by the Kent County Football Association (KCFA). History Now known as the Kent Senior Cup it was originally named, until the 1897–98 season, as the Kent Cup with the first competition played during the 1888–89 season. The cup itself, engraved as the "Kent County Football Association Challenge Cup", cost £33 and is made of 62 ounces of silver and surmounted by the rampant horse of Kent. (2018 Photograph). The Kent Cup competition was preceded as the KCFA's County knock-out tournament by the Kent County Badge: this was first competed for in 1886 and won for each of its three seasons by Chatham – who were also the first winners of the Kent Cup. Danny Kedwell
Daniel Trevor Kedwell (born 3 August 1983) is an English former footballer who played as a forward. He has spent most of his career playing non-League football, but played in League One and Two during a four-year spell with Gillingham, his hometown club. He is currently manager of club AFC Croydon Athletic. Career Non-League Born in Gillingham, Kent, Kedwell came through the youth system of Kent-based Chatham Town and played one season for the club before joining Tonbridge Angels in the summer of 2002. His spell at the Longmead Stadium was short-lived when in October 2002 he signed for Fisher Athletic and stayed with the side until January 2003. He had a short spell at Lordswood before joining Maidstone United in the summer of 2003, staying until the end of the following season. Adam Barrett
Adam Nicholas Barrett (born 29 November 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played as a central defender. During his career, which lasted from 1998 to 2017, he made 647 appearances in the Football League, including 308 for Southend United. He is assistant head coach at Cambridge United. Born in Dagenham, Barrett began his career with Leyton Orient, but failed to make an appearance for them and moved on to sign for Plymouth Argyle, spending the 1999–2000 season with them. In 2000, he moved to Mansfield Town and then spent two years at Bristol Rovers before joining Southend United in 2004. He helped Southend from League Two to the Championship during a six-year stay at Roots Hall, and played over 250 times for the club before signing for Crystal Palace in 2010. Bromley F
Bromley is a large town in Greater London, England, within the London Borough of Bromley. It is southeast of Charing Cross, and had an estimated population of 88,000 as of 2023. Ashford is a town in the Borough of Ashford, Ashford district, in the county of Kent, England. Kingsnorth is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Ashford in Kent, England. The civil parish adjoins the town of Ashford. Features The Greensand Way, a long distance footpath stretching from Haslemere in Surrey to Hamstreet in Kent, passes through the parish on the final stretch. The hamlet of Stubbs Cross is close to the village. The village's parish church is dedicated to St Michael and All Angels; the nave in its current state dates from the fourteenth century. Leon Clinton Elliott Legge (born 1 July 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. A defender, his strong strength, positioning, and tackling skills have helped him compensate for a lack of natural pace. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 16, at the time he was playing youth football for Little Common. He went on to spend over seven years in non-League with Sidley United, Eastbourne United, Hailsham Town, Lewes and Tonbridge Angels, whilst also working as a care worker. He turned professional at Brentford in July 2009, entering the English Football League at the age of 24. Faversham
Faversham () is a market town in Kent, England, from Sittingbourne, from London and from Canterbury, next to the Swale, a strip of sea separating mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppey in the Thames Estuary. It is close to the A2 road (Great Britain), A2, which follows an ancient British trackway now known as Watling Street, which was used by the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons. Adam Birchall
Adam Stephen Birchall (born 2 December 1984) is a retired footballer who played as a forward and is the current head coach of the Arsenal Under-18s. Despite being born in England he has several caps for the Welsh under-21 team, scoring on his debut against the Finland under 21s. Career Born in Maidstone, Kent, Birchall began his career at Arsenal, but never made it to the first-team. In the 2004–05 season, Birchall had a successful loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers, scoring four goals in twelve league games. He was released by Arsenal at the end of that season, and joined Mansfield Town in June 2005 on a two-year contract. The move to Mansfield was something of a disappointment for Birchall. Bradley Paul Dack (born 31 December 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Gillingham. Early life Dack was born in the London Borough of Greenwich, and attended Beths Grammar School in Bexley. Career Early career Dack played youth football for Teviot Rangers and Thamesmead Town. At the age of seven he was scouted by Wimbledon, where he trained for a year before joining their academy.
